It’s already been 4 month since I got into IPGMKBM where I’ve never imagined to be here before, to be a future preschool teacher. Joining GEEC1052 class once a week for this 4 months have give a good impact towards me on the perception of the importance of English language. Through out all the classes of this course, I realize it’s important for me to improve my English proficiency. Attending this course also had opened my eyes about the importance of technologies usage in education these day.
Madam Kalai, my lecturer of this course, is a sweeet and kind person. Now, she has become one of my reasons to keep learning and improve my English proficiency and also my skills in using technologies.
This GEEC1052 course is not just about attending the class physically, but also mentally where I learnt to change my perception on English language. From the very first time I learnt English, from home, from preschool, English have never been my cup of tea. I always seek for chances to stop learning English. It’s hard for me as learning this language need me to speak in a language that is not my mother tounge. I also lack of confidence where I got shaking easily whenever I tried to speak in English in front of people. I tend to lost words as my brain can not produce any words if I’m not well prepared to deliver a presentation or I need to randomly speaking.
But later, when I got here, attending this GEEC1052 course, meet new friends, new environment, really helps me in improving my English proficiency, boosting my confidence and much more. Now, learning English have be an excitement for me. Also, now I'm excited to dig more about the existence of technologies in education to improve my skills.
